it was a hot afternoon in petersham, so the attempt to try the new pub at the station seemed a great idea. there was a bouncer on the footpath near the door in the tender hour of 4 o'clock and he has brewed me in the finest turbulent tradition. sweet exclusiveness! once in there, there was something like that. scooner of carlton, please. we don't sell carlton. I can't say I found this place to be so enthusiastic. the thing I did was the choice of the beer on the hahn, many of them were craft beer, but the place seemed chic as hip, and I tend not to chic all that much. the other was that the staff did not seem so pleasant and did not get through so well, but then that is probably more than anything else. regarding the pub, it was okay, and it had a small in-house that was not smoker, and it wasn't too crowded. but besides the fact that it had a good selection of craftsmen that I had scored for him, and it is very close to a railway station, it is not one that I would hurry back soon.

the new renovations have really transformed this old school pub into a modern hip. it is open, it is light and airy with an industrial edgy feel it. great for families during the day fun for friends or couples when the sun goes down. pop in .... get them comfortable and take a drink while the tempting menu. that will be a normal one I feel.
