Recently I ordered the (walleye broiled (fish and chips with a (medium well cheeseburger . The walleye was overcooked and very tough. The hamburger was overdone and passed well done. The fish and chips was excellent. When I called to speak to the manager the cook tried to lie instead of apologizing . It's a shame. I've been cooking for 40 years myself and have had to apologize to people. That's what a man does ? , a weasel blames others. Spent $50 in 40 of it was like throwing it in the garbage. The pictures tell the story 17 dollars for the walleye, and probably 12 for the cheeseburger. WILL NOT BE RETURNING. THIS IS THE START OF RESTAURANTS THAT GO OUT OF BUSINESS ?
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The staff is fantastic, the food is incredible, and the prices are unbeatable! If you haven't dined here yet, you're really missing out. Treat yourself and pay a visit! And be sure to try the rice pudding while you're there—it's delicious and brings back fond childhood memories for me!
I came in to pick up an order and the owner was extremely rude. She also tried to say I was lying about what was in my order. Not a friendly atmosphere. Would not recommend coming here if you enjoy a positive environment.
Fish n chips was on special and still wasn't worth the price. Would of been tasty if they weren't so soggy. Nothing worse than soggy batter. Had to ask for plastic utensils glad I looked before I left.

You won't go wrong here.Stella is a sweetheart. Food is always very good. Consistent. And tasty.Fish is good. Not greasy. Atmosphere is very nice. Friendly staff. We frequent regularly :
The meatloaf was the worst I've ever tasted, and the mashed potatoes were tough and dry. I'll be sticking to coneys and fries from now on.
The dining area is a bit compact, but the restaurant exudes a cozy atmosphere. Be sure to try one of the omelets; they are delicious!
Kaitlyn was a great waitress. Very nice. Food was tasty and at great prices.
