Westpool Chinese Take Away

We've been using West Pool for many years now. We've tried pretty much every other Chinese take away in the area and have always been left feeling disappointed either by the quality of the food, the level of service, price or delivery times. Not so with West Pool. We've always found their service to be excellent, and on the very rare occasion something hasn't been right with an order (these things happen), they've always rectified the problem quickly. Their food is always delivered piping hot and on time (if not before time). And everything we've tried from their extensive menu has always been delicious. The customer service at this place is the worst I've ever experienced. After being a customer for 30 years, we can no longer get delivery because we requested a refund for food that was too salty to eat. Even the English employee who works at the front of the shop agreed that the sauce was too salty. Now we have to order and pick up our food, and to make matters worse, their prices are nearly £4 more than a nearby restaurant for the same meal. From now on, we will be going to the other restaurant up the road. The quality here is far from good.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for quite some time but have never ventured to try their special meals. Unfortunately, I will not be returning as I am now on the lookout for new dining experiences.

they send out cold and hard food which is very small portion and when complained about they dont want to know, no refund and they wouldnt swap it for a fresh 1 either. joke of a place!

Avoid this place! The duck was extremely dry and inedible, and when I asked for a refund, they refused. To make matters worse, I found hairs in my food.
