The hostess and waitress were genuinely friendly, making us feel welcomed—not the typical superficial friendliness often found in restaurants. This alone deserves a great review in our book! Now, onto the food: we found it to be quite good overall. I ordered the hot wings with a side of suicide sauce. While the hot wings weren't as spicy as I expected, the suicide sauce definitely packed a punch and was a perfect complement if you enjoy some heat. I also requested French fries on the side, and they added those at no additional charge, which I thought was a nice touch. On the ground floor, there are a few rooms that house a used bookstore and a gift shop filled with one-of-a-kind items that are hard to resist. There’s also a room where you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning. The parking is convenient, and you can stroll across the front lawn to appreciate the stunning views of Lake Champlain. We were thrilled to have found this hidden gem...thank you, Anthony, for taking such great care of us!
I stayed here for three nights with my husband and our newborn son. The facilities and rooms are not only unique but also very clean. The food is outstanding, and the staff is exceptional! I was quite nervous about breastfeeding, storing milk, and having my son sleep away from home, but the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating.
