Whiskey Rae 's is a little confusing on the outside. On the inside, it is a true bar style restaurant. It had a nice décor. The place had a wide selection of whiskeys and other liquors I had the Agent Orange plus Cheery Potter signature drinks. The Agent Orange was decent. I think they forgot the muddled jalapenos within the drink. Cheery Potter was a good twist. The drink had a extra cherry in it. They were decent prices for the drinks. For dinner I had a the Bourbon Stir-fry and it came with side of House Brisket Chili. House Brisket Chili was okay. It had decent flavor. After my son's competition, we were looking for a place to eat, and this restaurant was conveniently located right across the street. My family had been wanting to try it for a while, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and was really helpful since we were first-timers. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. I'm sure my kids would love to return, especially since they want to try the trivia night! I highly recommend this place.
Visited in Jan and Feb for lunch with family/friends both times. Okay service, a bit slow given there were only maybe 2 other tables on both occasions, and a couple of people at the bar. They were out of some ingredients in Feb, so we had to change our drink/food orders. In Jan, the chicken sandwich tasted really fishy and was a small piece of meat, would not recommend it. Fish/chips and pierogi appetizer are good! Blueberry Thriller is a go-to drink everytime!
I feel bad giving such a low rating because the service and food were decent. However, the main problem we encountered was during trivia night on Thursday. The host spoke so close to the microphone that every word was completely muffled, and it wasn’t connected to a surround sound system. Additionally, there were players cheating right next to us, and the host didn’t seem to care. I won't be returning for trivia in the future.

This restaurant continues to decline with each visit. The food is unimpressive, and the service is simply terrible. I went for lunch with a few colleagues, and it took nearly an hour and a half for a straightforward meal. I requested the check as soon as the waitress set down our food, but it still took 25 minutes to arrive. I won't be returning. It's no shock that only a few tables were filled during our visit.
Stopped in here after a Friday night football game. They had outstanding food and drinks. The outdoor patio area was really nice. This is an underrated restaurant here in Metro Detroit. They have a huge selection of food on the menu. The staff was super nice. The prices were good. A great place to watch games and eat great food. I highly recommend trying this place out.
We had a fabulous meal and service at Whiskey Ray's last. Our 1st time there! The tortilla soup was awesome, my blackened whitefish was perfect, and the chili was very good as well! We ended the meal with the waffle brownie sundae, . Our server, Clara, was wonderful and attentive! We will be back!!
I enjoyed a delicious French dip sandwich and a 20 oz. ale for just $25, including tip. They have the largest selection of above-average whiskey brands I've ever seen! The service was quick — I got my lunch in just 5 minutes — and the staff was friendly and pleasant.

I was truly impressed by my recent visit for trivia night. The food was great, and there was a wide selection of drinks to choose from. They also offer different specials every day. I will definitely be returning!
I had an amazing Rebbl bagel with proof 126 bourbon (if I remember correctly) that was packed with flavor—definitely the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to visit again!
