Whispering Pines B-b-q

This place sucks ,,,,they should close the doors before they're sued for food poisoning. To begin with,,,,,what kind of BBQ restaurant accepts cash only ,,,???? Good thing they had the one sign telling us that cause nobody else told us. The food was terrible,,,,,the beans were disgusting,,,,,BBQ was mushy. I got 8 fries with my meal,,,,,potato shortage goin on or what,,,???? So when we left we had to go down to the Cash Points machine and bring them they're cash back. If I had only known to wait an extra 30 minutes I could've brought em back my lunch too. It's all over the highway now though,,,,,,this was our first and last time going here. This place should be shut down ,,,,!!!!!!!!

Waitresses were moving fast to take orders and clear tables. But food was not good. I ordered a chuckwagon sandwich, ATW chilli, onion, slaw. My bottom bun was so soggy from not draining the slaw.. The chilli seemed to be from a can. A wet bun is not edible so I had to take it off a eat it with a fork. Fries were kinda soft and limp. Sweet tea was really bitter. I don't trust sending food back to the kitchen. To many disgusting things can happen. My companion was shocked at the portion size for the cost. $2.00 for the tiny 2oz cup of potato salad was ridiculous. $2.00 for a can of soda.

The service was great. The servers were friendly and the sweet tea was good. That's the only upside to this place. As far as the food... sad is the best I can describe it. The BBQ was bland as was the hushpuppies. The salad I ordered was almost 50/50 lettuce to pickles. My daughter ordered cheese fries and they literally melted a couple Kraft singles over a plate of unseasoned fries. Won't be going back.

Would not recommend. Food was very gross and the overly vinegar based sauce was too strong to try and eat with the BBQ. Diced pickles ontop of the salads. Chili on the tots looks like it came from a can for dogs. Hamburger steak looks like a cow pie tossed in the microwave and tasted exactly like it too. Ran out of drink multiple times. BBQ was excellent, Onion Rings were greasy and needed to be cooked longer. French fries were likewise. Couldn't eat them.Called order in and waited only minimum time in the curb service area to receive my order.

Best BBQ ever. And their baked beans are out of this world. So is their sweet iced tea.
