I came here for lunch on Saturday with my mum, husband and 2 year old. We had booked a table and it was ready on our arrival. One of the waitresses brought a highchair over for us. There is plenty of choice on the menu, and it is really reasonably priced. The waitress came over a couple of times to clarify the order for my little boy, which I appreciated, as it meant he got the correct drinks. The food was lovely and cooked to order, but we didn't have to wait too long. My son's food was on a plastic plate and plastic cutlery was provided for him. We didn't have room for a cake, but they looked delicious and were cut in generous portions. There is a toilet and baby change facility. The staff...

Been here half a dozen times. Food as good as ever, and clean and fresh. After half an hour on Sat 30/10, in a half full cafe we had to ask to be served, and order a second coffee. Another half and hour and we were about to walk out after completing 2nd coffee, when one omelette and one full English was served to the table. 3 tables were served and left in this time having arrived after us. No asking how we were, whether the food was ok or apologising for the time it took. Their observation skills were nil, and their communication with the chef non existent. They didn’t se...

Was recommended this lovely tea room in a housing estate in St Helens during a swift visit to the town following a long journey. It is a real gem. Clean, vibrant and friendly service. Good range of teas, coffee, cake and more substantial offerings. Absolutely top draw and very sensibly priced. Can’t praise it enough. Thoroughly

We visited on Christmas eve having previously booked for 4 adults 3 children. The cafe was very busy . The staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. We all had breakfast which was delicious would definitely recommend. Had cakes and more drinks afterwards which were equally good. Reserva una mesa ahora

We attempted to visit this cafe for a drink twice in one week, but were turned away both times. It is surprising that they reserve tables for over an hour and a half before they are actually used. This seems to be a missed opportunity for the cafe to attract more business.

I had a wonderful brunch at this restaurant with bacon, sausage sandwiches, and drinks. The food was delicious, and the three lovely girls working there were very welcoming and provided quick service. I will definitely be visiting again.

We have enjoyed many meal at whistles and it is always tasty, fresh and great value. The coffee is also fantastic, but the real highlight is the staff, always courteous, friendly and thoughtful.
