So let me start off by saying I've been to a lot of White Castle's from one end of Long Island to Pennsylvania and I've always got rust and root service everytime I go through the drive-through specially in Jersey City terrible service and so I come to this Clifton one and nayeli Brianna was working the drive-thru Nayeli was the one that took my order she was so patient and so helpful I loved the way that she took care of me Sperry professional and great service and I wasn't rushed and it was great so then I get up to the window and there's Brianna asking me do I want any sauces or anything very sweet very polite very professional I highly recommend you guys go at night to this White Castle...
12JUN2023 Do not visit location to dine in. NOR for family outing NOR for Drive Thru. This tiny location is under a madssive construction renovation. There is no parking except for approximately 7 spacez. There are contruction truckz, fencing and the Drive thru is closed off. Although, they are open and have provided a few seatz inside, parking with only one way to maneuver with 2 opposing entrancez testz the Humanz patience level to the limit! IORDERED large friez 'well done '. EXCELLENT! Not a problem. They were polite and more than willing to accommodate. The staff was calm under the pressure of the inconveniencez and a non empathetic customer base. But you know WC, they will prevail! Now...
Well this restaurant tables and the floor should be clean and also the windows should be shade and the doors should have better locks for protect for the workers so customers could see the changes and you guys should have a bullet proof glass window where you order so the workers could be protected and for one drive thru window you guys should have a bullet proof glass drive thru window only to protect the workers that work there and you guys should paint this place and make a change. This restaurant should not be 24 hours this restaurant should only be from 6:00am to 12:00am at midnight for the last order. This restaurant should be close by midnight. You guys should upgrade this restaurant.
This location has the standard White Castle fare. Food can be undercooked slightly and the coffee occasionally acidic. But it's still a cheap eat, and if you visit in the non busy hours it can be a comfortable sit down inside for you. Otherwise, it can be quite a wait. Update June 2023, Since reopening after a one month refurbishing hiatus, I have become very disappointed at what has happened. Most of the seating is gone, the prices have soared exorbitantly, and there is just not the same atmosphere here. It's darker and just less welcoming than before. I ordered today and told them no onions and they drowned it with onions. I had to go back to the drive thru because they are under remodeling. The person that took my order snatched the food out of my hand and had a bad attitude like I made the food incorrectly. She has a real problem.
