White Star Brunswick St

The food is nothing short of exceptional at White Star. We do not get down to this part of New Jersey often, but when we do, we always make a point to stop at either of the white star locations. The El Camino Burger is probably my favorite thing on the menu, and the runner is their street corn. On the beer side of things, I would like to see stronger local beer offerings. The amount of macro beers on tap make this place feel more like a dive bar instead of the upscale pub that it is.

Great food, excellent cocktails, and a truly wonderful staff. Neighborhood staple, for sure. Edit: the spicy chicken parm sandwich on their special menu right now is delicious . But they hooked me with spicy ; alas, it was not. Still hella tasty. They might sell more if they drop 'spicy ' from the description, or kick the spice up and embrace it. Either way, yummy!

I recently ordered take out and found two hairs in my IPA braised pulled pork sandwich (pictured on the napkin to the left). The food is OK, nothing spectacular but hair in food is unacceptable. Please ask your staff to take more care.

Do not recommend ordering delivery from white star. While a dine is great, service and all, the portions are painstakingly smaller for delivery as well as the food kinda just being thrown into a box. Disappointed with the order. Reserva una mesa ahora

best burger in downtown jc! staff is friendly and love it when they have the outdoor seating open. my go to for comfort and casual. also, love that they are accomdating to allergies

Ordered fish and chips although the batter was crispy on the fish, it was all batter and almost non existent fish. I can only rate this particular dish though

Friendly neighborhood bar. Good burgers are too overpriced. Would come more often if they fixed prices. This is not a special occasions place.

Burger was under-seasoned and not cooked thoroughly. Pizza was bland. Service and drinks are great. Great bar with seating as well.

My cocktail was refreshing and crafted so well! The shrimp and bacon quesadilla was unique and delicious!
