White Yak is a wonderful restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff members are so pleasant, and their prices are incredibly fair for the portions. It was our first time here so we ordered a bit of everything, and there was not a bad dish amongst them. We started with the traditional fried dumplings (beef momo) that came with a delicious dipping sauce. For main dishes, we had the shatrak, chili chicken, crispy pork ribs, phaktsee, and the chicken thenthuk. Wow. Everything was delicious, but the crispy ribs were next level. Great stuff. Check them out, you will be happy you did.

There aren't many new restaurants I try that I feel deserve another visit, but I will definitely go back to White Yak. Tho I'm not usually a fan of curry, I tasted the beef and chicken curry and I would definitely order them again. Very yummy and not overly spicy. The momos were delish and I would have them again as well. The eggplant dish was a nice side....I look forward to trying more of their food.

I ordered chicken chilly momos and I really liked them. It was very spicy and I like spicy. Although I didn’t like the fact that they added celery in it. It had a very distinct celery flavor and that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars. They’re overpriced, I ended up paying close to 18 for momos which is a lot for a medium sized appetizer.

The food for me was good but not memorable. I’ve had better momos. The tofu with stirfried vegetables was excellent. And the La-ping appetizer was really good as well. The acoustics was very loud in there not pleasant to me. But other guests seemed just fine with the intense volume.
