Widnes Fish - Reserva de mesa

The food is usually good here but the service has got progressively worse lately. There are plenty of staff who pander mostly towards phone orders or people coming in for big baquet type meals whereby staff are all over them like a rash. But if you walk in and theres a queue, then usually you will wait until you get to the counter before you can order a chinese meal, rather than being able to order it when you first arrive. Its very frustrating, especially as the fryer is stood there not doing much and could take orders. Hygiene is also questionable for example, I saw one of the male staff serving peas into a pot and got some on his fingers and flicked it back into the hot pea container pan!...

We placed a very large order yesterday afternoon Tuesday 4th August 2020 and requested for the order to be ready for collection at 6:30pm. The order was a mixture of Chinese meals and English dishes when we turned up to collect it everything was ready for us. We can honestly say that all of the food was freshly cooked and there was that much of it we have just enjoyed finishing it off this evening. We would highly recommend Paul's chippy to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience at this chippy! Sud is amazing at the counter and his staff are well-trained and a great addition to the area. The fish and chips were delicious. Despite the distance, I now consider this my go-to place for fish and chips. Thank you Sud for your excellent service.

We have used this chippy all year. To our horror, we ordered food 2 1/2 hours ago on Christmas eve. We have just chased our food and told they have closed. Shocking service. We will will not be using this chipy again!!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

Soggiest chips Iv ever had. Could nt even separate the chips from one big fatty lump and undercooked. Rest of food very greasy also. Terrible chippy should be ashamed selling food like that

I purchased fish and chips from this restaurant and found them to be enjoyable. However, I was disappointed by the small portion of chips that were served on the tiniest tray possible.

Best to order on the phone for Chinese meals, can get pretty busy at peak times. Meals are very good and within the local price range, staff are nice, service good.

Guys cook your chips I arrived home with a tray of mashed potatoes. Not nice, I respect you need to serve quickly but when I ask for chips that's what I want Reserva una mesa ahora

Paul's chippy on Lowerhouse Lane went above and beyond tonight. Thank you for the amazing meal, it was delicious.
