Wildpark-Restaurant Schwarze Berge

Growing up nearby, all I remember is the Wildpark, and the Wolves. I never knew that there was a restaurant, until my siblings took me there for dinner. What a great place to eat. We came on a Friday for the Bratkartoffel buffet, and if you are like me, missing good German food, this was the equivalent of paradise on earth. Bratkartoffel to your desire, plus all the trimmings, I missed the kitchen sink though ;). The buffet had just about everything your could desire for dinner. Besides the Bratkartoffel (home-fries) there was salad, Herring, German cold cuts, including my fav "Suelze" (Head cheese), plus plenty of meat (hot carving board too). A beautiful animal park for small and large visitors. The ride via the highway is very easy and thanks to the signs the animal park can be found quickly. There are many parking spaces. The animal park is beautifully located in the forest and on the wide paths the park can be explored very well. Immediately in the entrance area you are welcomed by the suspension pigs. Then it goes on and you can visit the different enclosures. The animal park has never been overcrowded. The air show is also a highlight and should be taken along. I was here a lot. In the meantime, my partner and I have an annual card. The park is beautifully large, you can always use another way and discover new corners. Today, for example, we have found a high-seat way to observe the dam game very well. As the name of the park already shows, there are many climbs, so I like it very much. They are located in the middle of the forest and can look very close to the fauna.

A really great, natural park in the middle of forests. Many regional animals and many possibilities to get in touch with the animals. For children (also for the youngest) much is offered and there is much to see. The facilities always make a neat, well maintained and clean impression. So all the top and you like to come back. A great animal park. Usually and clean, inexpensively fine and a beautiful forest around him. Large animals of different species and a very nice flight show at a beautiful location in the park. Whether young or old is worth a trip and you feel the animals have a really good life here

We have had brunch here three times now and it is never a disappointment. We had reserved a table (since we were 9) and found the waitress very friendly, the buffet brunch a delight and the whole thing set us up nicely for our visit to the Wildpark itself.

We were lucky that it was not raining when we spent the day in the park. We followed the route on the map and had a lot of fun watching and feeding all the animals.A bit disappointing that you had to pay extra for the train ride but we still enjoyed it.

We just had a snack to get our free coffee with the admittance ticket. Sadly the coffee was just from a pot, but the strudel made up for it!

I enjoyed this day so!!! It was really nice!! Unfortunately it didn't work with the aquarium! But for that we have a reason to come back!
