I visited Wiles Lake Farm Market this morning to pick up some pumpkins, apples, and a fresh loaf of homemade bread. The bread was so fresh that there was still steam in the bag. I also got a chicken salad sandwich to-go, which I enjoyed on my way home. The sandwich had celery, apples, and raisins in it, which was a unique twist that I had never tried before. It was delicious, especially on the fresh whole wheat bun it was served on. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in finding everything I needed. how many places in nowa scotia they are surprised to find this place on hwy 325. most people rush right at the exit 13, while they go further south, but this farmer market is wonderful. many seasonal garden products are just as available as delicious...pee and ice. we also visited in the oktober and they have a great autumn display. the personal is very friendly and eager to explain the different types of brot they bake.
If you want excellent home made Brown Bread this is the place to go . Actually all the homemade bread is delish !!! This is a very nice little Bakery Market . They makes lots of homemade food for take out . eat in.... Soups, salads baked beans ,pizza much more . Also fresh fruit vegetables are available in season . If you're in Wileville anytime do drop by check this place out ...oh yes they also sell coned ice cream :
When ever I need fresh homemade bread or rolls, or a sweet snack this is where I go. Also on your way in the Market you can get fresh vegetables and fresh fruit. The outside is always decorated so inviting. I have run up there...for a dish to have for supper like baked beans. Always made to perfection.
