We have been coming to this desert restaurant for 45 years, solely for their famous fish sandwiches. The fish is flown in fresh from Maine every Friday. The sandwiches are generous in size, with two large pieces of fish stacked on a small bun. However, be prepared to wait if you arrive after 5 pm on a Friday, as it can get very busy. I recommend going for an early dinner, as the restaurant is small. During Lent, the menu is limited.
Willees has a new addition to their staff, Lisa. She is bright, funny, super friendly and knows what her stuff behind the bar. I met Lisa one time prior to my visit Wednesday. I sat down and she asked me if I was having a Miller Lite draft. I was very impressed with her. Good job hiring her! She is a great addition to your staff!

We ordered the Cobb Salad and the A1 Burger. The server was working alone and was quite busy, but still managed to do an excellent job. The food took a bit longer than usual to come out of the kitchen, but it was worth the wait as it was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. Reserva una mesa ahora
The experience was mediocre. Two of us ordered the fish, which is supposed to be the best around, but we have definitely had better at Scoreboard and Barrel Junction. Another person ordered the burger, which was very dry. However, we did have a very nice and efficient waitress.
The fish dinner was good as well as the lobster flat bread but you have to bring cash to this restaurant or you will get charged an extra fee to use your credit card. Lousy way to recoup costs if you ask me.
it's been about 50 years since my grandfather brought me to willees tavern for a fish sandwich. excellent service and sandwich. much bigger than I remember, and the sawdust was gone

Very busy. Waited awhile for food. Picked a bad day as we were seated with sports teams and families. Very noisy and disruptive. Food ok.
