Willie Jewell's Old School B-q

Let me start off by saying that this was thee worst, poor customer service, and meal I have EVER received from this so-called Old School BBQ joint If I could give this place a 0-star rating...I would!! I ordered $40 worth of bbq and received $0 worth of nothing! We ordered two of the 2-meat combo with double sides, a side salad and extra green beans. The chicken was undercooked, the beef brisket was tough, over done, burnt and dried out, the corn fritters were overly deep fried, the Mac cheese was gummie and the baked beans and texas toasted was scorched and charred as well. As a barbecue enthusiast, I must say Willie Jewels is one of the best BBQ spots I have tried in the Charleston area. In my opinion, they offer high-quality barbecue with a variety of options including pulled pork, brisket, ribs, turkey, chicken, and delicious sides. I have had many BBQ experiences, but Willie Jewels consistently stands out as the best. The flavors of their meats are out of this world, thanks to their advanced smoking techniques. The three-meat plate is a generous portion and I have found that Willie Jewels surpasses other BBQ spots in the area. I highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the Highway 78 vicinity.

I had heard that the Carolinas are known for their barbecue. I stumbled upon a place near where I was attending a conference. The restaurant was small and charming, and the food was absolutely amazing. The ribs were some of the best I have ever had. If the ribs were that good, I can only imagine how delicious their other dishes must be. If I ever find myself back in Charleston, I will definitely make another trip to this restaurant.

We are new to the area from VA and this is the best BBQ we have ever tasted. We have returned twice and are pleased each visit. Consistency and excellency in food flavor, portion, and extra effort is evident. Fast, friendly staff. VEry Very busy as everyone is hearing about them and are return customers obviously. I ordered the fried chicken with corn fritters and fresh coleslaw. It was delicious! The chicken was crispy and the sassy sweet sauce was so tasty that I poured it over my pulled pork. They were out of okra, but it didn't bother me. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Always enjoy my food at Willie Jewells BBQ. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Being tired tonight, I got take out. Imagine my disappointment when I got home and didn't have the Peach Cobbler, I ordered. Very disappointed. It is the best peach cobbler!

Eat is good. got out quickly. the good of my man was cold. my chicken and mac were warm and tasty. couple different bbq sauces to try. many parking spaces. the service is ok. bathroom lacks shallow and toilet paper.
