I've been a loyal customer since this restaurant first opened, usually stopping by every morning for a large iced coffee and a bagel. Typically, my iced coffee costs $4.79, but during my last visit in the evening, I was shocked to be charged $7.50 for just the coffee. I found this price to be excessive and asked a staff member for an explanation, but they just said that's the price. Unsatisfied with that answer, I feel it's important to speak with the manager. Can anyone explain if prices are indeed higher in the evening, or why I was charged so much?
Overall, I was really impressed with my experience at this Winchell's location. While I've had mixed experiences with their donuts in the past, the ones we tried this time were fantastic and remarkably fresh. We visited around 9 AM, which was a nice time, and everything tasted wonderful. The customer service was also top-notch. Although I didn’t get the names of the two ladies who assisted us, they were extremely polite and patient. Among all the Winchell's in the area, I would definitely recommend this one.
The service was quick and incredibly friendly. I received assistance from not just one, but two staff members, which made me feel genuinely valued! The place was clean and well-kept, and there was a wide variety of options available. This is definitely not your typical donut shop.
