Wings (wings Quesnel)

We took my mother-in-law out for dinner, and the wait for our food felt like it lasted forever. When it finally arrived, the portions were disappointing, the fries were soggy, and my mother-in-law's chicken was undercooked. The staff made excuses, saying it was frozen when they prepared it! They did remove the charge for the chicken from our bill and offered us a gift card for free wings, as if we would want to return! However, we were still charged for the rest of the meal. Honestly, they should have comped the entire bill. We definitely won’t be coming back! The service was also subpar.

We had a delightful evening with the family and ordered five dishes, but unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by cleanliness concerns. Our plates and forks were dirty, with remnants of food on them, and we even found a bug on the top plate. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she dismissed it with a shrug, blaming the dishwasher, and even laughed it off. To make matters worse, we discovered a bug floating in our refilled water, and she laughed again. Despite the fantastic food, I can’t shake the worry that we may have accidentally ingested some bugs.

We often travel to Quesnel for work and stay close by. Instead of discussing the owners or management, I’d like to highlight the positives. We thoroughly enjoy the food and the impressive selection of beers available. Brooke (I hope I spelled that correctly) is an exceptional server. Each time we arrive, our favorite beer is already waiting for us at the table! The service is wonderful, complete with great humor. Additionally, we’ve had no problems with parking at all.

The service was outstanding—truly surpassing our expectations. The food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable, reminiscent of what we used to see before the pandemic. The kids' meals included an entrée, a side, a dessert, and a drink for only $10. The atmosphere was also fantastic. This was our second visit to the restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The food is incredible! My husband couldn't stop talking about the maple bourbon chicken wings; since he orders them everywhere we go, they truly made a lasting impression. I would rate this place a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend it. I also appreciate the gluten-smart options available!

The food was quite disappointing. The portions were on the smaller side and priced too high. The artichoke dip was lackluster, and the server who also handled the bar service seemed inexperienced; she didn't even know what a cosmopolitan is. Overall, I was not impressed. I would have preferred to grab something from the frozen food aisle at the grocery store.

A group of 12 local seniors recently dined at Wings in Quesnel and found out that, because of their large party size, a minimum tip of 18% would be added to their bill. They have eaten at several other restaurants in Quesnel and have never encountered a minimum tipping policy before. Sadly, they have chosen not to return to Wings for lunch.

While traveling from Vancouver to Prince George, I stopped at Wings restaurant in Quesnel. It turned out to be a fantastic spot for a family meal, with delicious food and quick service. I had a fantastic experience with my server, Brandon. He was incredibly attentive, regularly checking if my drink needed a refill and making sure I was enjoying my meal. He even changed the channel to the game I wanted to watch. I will definitely be coming back!

The food here is amazing! We think the other dishes are better than the wings, as they don't offer great value for the price. The other items on the menu are much more delicious and satisfying. Plus, there’s a lot of free parking available!
