We have been visiting Heidelberg and at lunchtime we have been near the old bidge and looked for a nice restaurant. Just beside this nice door we found the restaurant "Wirtshaus zum Nepomuk". We could sit outside with nice sun protection. The waiters have been very friendly and asked us several times about our wishes for lunch. We got the menu and found it very interesting. Not too many things on offer but we found good international food and specialities from the area. Also the prices have been attractive. Lunch ended fine and we would come back at any time we are back for visiting Heidelberg again.
We had the smoked salmon for an entrée and it was really tasty. Clean ingredients and you could see what you eat and I like that. For main course we all chose different kind of meats . There was nothing to complain there either. Nice pices of meat cooked as we ordered them. The fried potatoes with bacon and onions are a really nice side dish. We will start doing that at home. Genuine food and really big portions so thumbs up!
we celebrated a birthday here and really amused us despite the loud bridge-proof before the door. we sat in the courtyard and with the door to the outside, you could perceive the rock music outside only in the background. the food was great, and I had a great choice myself as a vegetarian. I then decided to gnocci with a nice day card and was really thrilled - all fresh and delicious. the service was also good and nice!
the nepomuk is very cheap at the old bridge and offers a good offer of food and drink. pleasant terrace. very friendly service.Have got a good delicate rumpsteak here.Good quality.A good address in heidelberg to good trips.

If you are coming to Heidelberg and would love to enjoy some traditional German food you must visit this restaurant. A perfect location close to the river and the old bridge. You won't be disappointed
high quality vanilla with a touch lemon characterize the crème brûlée; not less the "green mint" beside the fruits of the season. fits the caramelized crust burned on the spot. a dessert for 9,- €!
a good German restaurant at the foot of the bridge on the neckar! the nepomuk offers a Germanic cuisine that fits the body! So we're taking forces back! a note the spritz at the rhubarbe
during our 3 days in heidelberg we were in the nepomuk to eat. service, size of the portions and taste of the food simply super. the hotel is also recommended.
