Woodhouse Fish - Reserva de mesa

We hadn’t been here for a few weeks, and were surprised to see new owners. The first thing we noticed was the empty shop, normally on a Friday at 6 you can’t move. The second thing we noticed was the price hike. Fish peas chips for 4 plus kids meals the bill came to over £30. The fish was greasy soggy batter, white half cooked chips and the kids sausages were re heated. It went straight in the bin. What a waste of food and money. The new owners looked fed up and miserable....no lollipops for the kids, no smiles obviously in it for the money

I have visited this fish and chip shop several times in the last month. I initially enjoyed my experiences, but after my most recent visit, I will not be returning. After consuming a large portion of cod from this establishment, I experienced vomiting and stomach issues for hours. I suspect that either the fish or the potatoes were not stored at the proper temperature. I am confident it was the fish and chips that caused my illness, as the only other thing I had consumed that day was toast.

Very disappointed, poor quality fish chips, yes, a very good portion, but what's the point in having plenty of something that you won't enjoy. Definitely not as good as the nearest other 2 chippies. I've never had decent fish and chips from somewhere that sells kebabs burgers, maybe I'm just fussy, but from past experience, I stick to places that don't happen to sell kebabs, burgers and pizzas.

The staff at this restaurant were excellent, especially the gentleman who was extremely nice and had a great conversation about football with my grandson. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The fish and chips with curry were fantastic according to my grandson, and my fishcake was delicious. Thank you, we will definitely be returning. - Kim Woodhouse Reserva una mesa ahora

Went here as I called by the area massive portion of chips however they was like toe nails clearly been cooked and left there for a good two hours or so, as soon as I saw them I knew deep down they was going to be rubbish what a waste of £8 whatever will not be going back definitely not the place wants shutting down it’s that rubbish

I did not order anything and would not recommend anything from this restaurant. The fishcake was burnt and dry, and the curry did not resemble traditional chip shop style and had a look and consistency similar to diarrhea. The large chips also tasted like they had been refried. I strongly suggest avoiding this place for dining.

Been twice now, will add a pic next time as it's definitely worth it. Great portions with very fresh fish . The chips are so tasty. They also do a hotter curry instead of the fruity one which I've net been able to find elsewhere in Sheffield. The kids have sausage and love them. Definitely the only chippy for us now.

Great chip shop fresh food always great choice on menu and the owners are the friendliest people always happy and jolly the shop is spotless great size portions Reserva una mesa ahora

Nothing bad to say about this place it is what it is can’t really go wrong with fish and chips kebab meat is nice chips are always hot staff were friendlier

The staff are really friendly and welcoming and they do one of the best battered saveloys I've had in years!
