Worse Meal out I can honestly say I have had. We go here regularly and this time was absolutely atrocious. Booked for 8.30pm stood for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. Finally grabbed a young lads attention and he said I will get someone, he did and they said yout table isn't ready. Go to the bar and we will come and get you. Only 2 tables were occupied in the restaurant and only 1 table wasn't clean a table for 6, there were only 3 of us. We mentioned this and reluctantly was given another table. By the way no-one came in after us ??? Waitress then gave us the menus and was back in a minute and said what do you want, we said give us a few minutes she was back in another minute and we quickly ordered, rush ,rush rush. Starters came and the chicken wings were lovely but the cheese crisps soggy as anything chewy grease. One order next was fish ,chips and mushy peas, when she cleared the starters away I asked if the mushy peas could come separately as previously they came under the fish and the fish was soggy. She said yes no problem then came back saying it had already been plated. Omg it was a full plate of mushy peas with a very chewy fish, with black triple, triple, quadruple cooked chips. Should gave complained but didnt want to cause a scene. So we paid and left. Very disappointed, staff very young and inexperienced in customer care and a chef who obviously wanted to get home. Don't offer bookings for 8.30pm if you want to get rid of your customers as soon as you can.

Recently refurbished to high standard. Unfortunately the chicken supreme wasn’t served with any sauces just plain roast chicken breast. Half a mushroom and half a tomato. Chips. When querying about sauce was told it didn’t come with one but could order one separately at £3.50 each

Lovely food, great service from the poor waitress who was running around all night whilst her colleague was sat down chatting to her friends the entire time.

Over priced pub grub and dirty tables, all staff apart from one where grumpy and looked like they didn’t want to be there. Not what it thinks it is

We hadn’t booked but managed to get a table in the bar. The food was excellent and the service very good. All at a reasonable price
