Beautiful place. Matthew was our server- he was outstanding, friendly-but couldn't explain what an ingredient was in a dish (it was Kimchi). The dry rub wings were good, but we had to ask for a sauce and celery. The Thai wings were good=different and not my favorite as I thoguht they might be. I did ask for a side of Brussels which never came (I actually forgot until I got home). The grilled cheese was had by two-just a note-there are three slices of bread--so if you aren't a large sandwich with three layer kind of eater-maybe request less. The burgers looked good-a friend had it and liked. We didn't try shakes, but we would like to come back to try shakes and tacos. The beer cheese pretzels...
Decided to try a new place for burgers while back in the Charleston area for vacation. Ended up here for dinner one night and definitely not disappointed. Sometimes it's hard to find clean restaurants in the area due to heavy beach traffic, but this place was clean, had phenomenal service, and delicious burgers and food and cocktails. Close to the shopping centers near the Isle of Palms Connector so easy run from the beach.
Chef Jason is the best addition to Woodward Tavern!! We came back to celebrate our friends' birthday and honestly, coming between our great server and boss to bring food and check us... it really did the night special. Thank you and we will come back soon! Thanks again for pampering us boss!!!!
What a cozy, relaxed restaurant. Large menu with many different pub style items and a good local beer list. Milkshakes and Tater-Tarts were delicious! Pizza, burgers are average. The service was fantastic and our waitress was great! I would recommend and definitely be back to try more entrées.

I heard good stuff to check it out. Lunch. The server/bartender was great. The Buffalo pizza was not bad, but rarely I had a buffalo pizza with tomato sauce instead of buffalo sauce. The Turkish sandwich hardly had a Turkey on it. But we will be back because the wings and burgers should be big
Service was slow, and the place was not crowded. We had to ask for every little item, that he should have checked on. He would bring something and then rush off, not asking if we needed anything else. Food was just ok. We had salads and burgers. Very s8mple, but nothing to brag about.
Great dining experience! Loved the Power Salad with grilled shrimp add-on. Husband had the Asian burger with fries Brussels sprouts—amazing. Milkshake is a must-have—they’re extra-special. Extremely clean and staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!
The food was really good! We loved our smash burgers and nachos! I liked the Pimento cheese smashburger? very delicious and the waiter was great!

We really enjoyed our meal. Wings were delicious. They have shakes that look divine. Will have to try next time.
Food was good, service good. Dining area is small so make a reservation. Save room for a milkshake!!
