"Although it was a Monday night and relatively quiet we had a fantastic meal here, aubergine, broken eggs with Iberian ham and pork rolls for starter. Main course of fillet steak cooked at the table by ourselves as we liked it. Trio of desserts. The meal included a bottle of wine and a couple of beers. Everything we ate was delicious and the value for money was first class. Highly recommend."

A special occasion calls for a special location. So on a hot sunday afternoon we found ourselves again comfortably seated within the colourful confines of this favourite establishment. My daughter hadn 't met my partner 's son and girlfriend before and this was an ideal opportunity for us all to get together and enjoy the eats We shared three starters which consisted of small rolls of cheese wrapped in smoked salmon, a delicious pate and a Caesar salad which was followed by the main dish. We opted for Bass in a champagne sauce, roast lamb and fillet of pork with roquefort and pepper sauce. This was followed by dessert. The bill came to 89 euros for the five of us,which included a bottle of w...

It would appear to some, from the amount of positive reviews I have consistently written about this restaurant, that I 'm given some kind of kickback from the owners. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is I really enjoy informing others about my good fortune of finding an eatery that consistently lives up to my expectations in every way. We opted this time for the lunchtime menu. The setas mushroom soup, tropical salad, mista salad, monkfish and pork loin were most enjoyable. A glass of wine,a beer and dessert came to ONLY 20 euros. Incidentally, there is ALWAYS ample parking outside the Elda bus station which is only a ten minute walk away.

I managed to get a reservation for a Saturday evening meal on the previous night, which surprised me greatly, for normally one has to book far earlier. Many new dishes have been added to the menu recently and the standard of cuisine and service remains excellent. We ordered cuttlefish, the trufa salad, sirloin steak and for dessert the chocolate coulant. A refreshing bottle of Verdejo wine accompanied our meal. The bill came to 63 euros including beer and coffee. Money well spent indeed.

We had been to visit the Bocopa wine making factory in Elda and we 're looking for somewhere nice for lunch. This place looked very modern and cool so we thought we 'd give it a go. We were not disappointed. A fantastic proper restaurant standard meal of the day which was a crazy 9 euros for starter, main course, desert and glass of wine. The quality was way above what we expected and if we are ever in Elda again we will definitely visit Xambel. Great service too!
