The skirt steak was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Both the food and service were top-notch, earning a well-deserved five stars in each category. Xunta is one of my favorite restaurants in the West Essex area. Come for the addicting patacas bravas and chourizo a prancha; stay for the gracious warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home. I’ve dined here solo, in small parties of 3-4, and as a part of a 17-person gathering for my dad’s 60th birthday, and not once has Xunta’s team disappointed. Food: 5 Reserva una mesa ahora

I don't agree with some of the reviews here. Food was excellent. We had the spicy potatoes, chorizo, shrimp, scallops, steak, pork stew? and some other items I don't remember. Minor quibble. The shrimp was slightly overcooked. Servers were great. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Server was SO nice. Atmosphere cute, but a bit empty. Food OK. They charged us $5 for bread (which you have to ask for) to dip in the shrimp/mussel sauce; not sure I have ever seen that before and you will never see that in a traditional tapas eatery (e.g., Newark).
