I visited this restaurant with my friends from Hunan province. They all spoke highly of this place for anyone interested in trying authentic Hunan cuisine. I particularly suggest trying the sour radishes with chicken stir fry, smoked bean curd with chilies, and pork belly with pickled chilies. These dishes are not overly spicy. I also recommend trying the traditional noodles, which my friend eats every day in Hunan. She mentioned that it is a staple in their daily diet, similar to how bread, rice, or pasta is for us.

Food’s fantastic, especially their steam fish head with pickled chilli — 雙色魚頭 is a must try dish. Unfortunately the store is extremely small and you must make a reservation before heading to the store. If you don’t make a booking, you’ll have to wait for more than an hour for your turn. 10/10 for their food, 2/10 for their space availability.

I have eaten there many times already. The food is amazing and value for money.My special favourites are the spicy pork hock and squid. The meat just falls right off the pork hock, and the flavours were completely infused throughout the entire piece of meat. The squid had a very nice texture and lovely flavour, making it all the better.

I don't think I've ever tried Hunan style food before, but I've been back 3 times in two weeks. The noodle soups are great and there is a great value set menu deal at lunch which gives you a soup along with one meat and one veg dish. Will be going back again and again. We went to lunch today. This is lunch special for $11.8 one meat one veg plus $1 for rice. Beef is tasty and Tofu also spicy enough. Reasonable price and good location close to train station. Easy parking.

The noodle soups at this restaurant have a delicious home-cooked taste that warms the soul during the winter. The prices are very reasonable and the seating is comfortable. I will definitely be returning.

Try their fried rice, it’s not just an average fried rice, they do it properly. Other dishes are good too!
