Yangon is one of my/our favorite restaurants. I've taken my family members who visit from all over the world as well as locally here and they all love it. My best friend and I stumbled on to this place a few years ago when I was searching for a newerplace to try but with high reviews. It was love at first taste... Lol. Since then, we've had parties in their backroom andpatio, ordered to go or deliveries, or eat here at least once a month. The owners and staff are very humble, friendly,hardworking, and gracious. A small and tidy eatery at the heart of Broadway. Parking can be a bit of a chore therefore. The decor is on the more minimal side but does not detract from the mood. The staff is friendly and took our orders timely. Lunch came out at a steady pace. The food is good but could be better. The tea leaf salad was light on the greens, the flavor dominated by the fermented tea leaf and the fried garlic. More crunchy than crispy. Also had the curry with chicken, the meat was quite tender, the flavor good if not exceptional. All in all a good place for a quick lunch.

The friendly server gave a great recommendation at this clean restaurant with a back patio for semi-outdoor dining. The atmosphere is casual but still tidy. I tried the Burmese pork curry, which had a unique flavor different from Indian, Thai, or Japanese curry. It was savory, flavorful, and not spicy. Although I can't say if it's authentic, it tasted delicious. The only downside was being served rice with a dry, crusty top layer as the first customer for lunch.

Went after back to school night with 3 families with toddlers. The owners were incredibly gracious and kind and sweet to our girls giving them little bonus treats (and disregarding our noises). The food was amazing!!!! And the owners were kind enough tomake the dishes (ordered tapas style) without the spice so our girls could enjoy them with us. I can't praise Yangon enough. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the tea leaf salad is out of this world. The pumpkin pork stew is made fresh to order, taking about 20 minutes, but it is definitely worth the wait. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Don't just take my word for it, go check it out yourself. You won't be disappointed. (Pictured: coconut rice, pumpkin pork stew)

Yangon is a great meal every time. Staff is very friendly. It’s got a family-run vibe. The restaurant is never too busy, which I find odd because the food is so good. I love the tea leaf salad and Burmese style falafel

Tea leaf salad was delicious! Our main dish of chicken with veggies was exactly what we had in mind when we asked for help choosing. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Great local find. Will return!

Amazing food (pot stickers are home made and epic)! It’s also family run and they are the sweetest. They treat our kids like family. There’s an outdoor patio which is perfect for young kids. Reserva una mesa ahora

The Mongolian Chicken wreaked me for getting Chinese food anywhere else. Seriously. It was so good. Already planning a repeat and I live a freaking 1.5 hrs away.

Unique food, like geography, a mix of Thai, Indian and Chinese, but really good. Happy we went for this one!
