I had an extremely disappointing experience at the restaurant. The service was terrible – our server was disorganized and made several mistakes. I am not one to complain, but I feel the need to share my experience. I went there with some friends on a Saturday afternoon, and I didn't even know where to start. I have never had such horrible service before. I ordered fish and chips, and it came out very greasy. I had to wait 15 minutes for my server to come back, and by then, my friend's food was gone. Every time she took a drink order, she would throw things over and create a mess. She even threw a cup that hit the gentleman next to me with a huge chunk of ice. When someone ordered another bee...
I always considered Yard House to be a bit more of fancier place than BJs and such, but last night 's experience brought it way down. A few girls and I were meeting there, we had a reservation, when I mentioned I 'm hear with them- the staff did not walk me to the table, they just said I think they 're on this side of the restaurant pointing to the indoor seating. The place is huge. So they would have me walk around and find my party instead of walking me to the table. As always it 's super loud and dark in there, it 's hard to have a conversation. You can 't eat and listen at the same time, you have to watch the person 's mouth sitting across from you in order to hear them. Service was good...
Nice location and the service was great. What it lacked in the food was the fries were cold and the food was lukewarm as if it had been sitting around waiting to be picked up. My own personal salad lacked flavor. The vegetables were bland and didn't taste like anything and the chicken was dry and just blah. As for the atmosphere it's a nice location, clean and well lit. But we wanted to leave pretty quick because we all felt it was way too cold making it uncomfortable. I know it was a warm day but the inside of the restaurant was so cold you could have been wearing a wool suit and still feel frigid. Ambiance and service is good, food is not. The lava cake wasn’t molten cake, it was very dry and a little colder than you would expect. My guess was that they microwaved a pre-made cake. We go to dine in restaurants for freshly baked cake, not overpriced crap from microwave. And then too much sprinkled sugar on everything. The cake is already sweet, let me taste the chocolate which I came for and don’t ruin it with sugar.

Awsome food, beautiful restaurant. We love the open air patio. The sushi nachos were so fresh and delicious and my bacon bbq ranch burger was awsome. Bbq sauce and ranch on a burger? You guys are on to somthing! The lobster bisque ravioli my wife had was delicious as well.
This place is fantastic! The food is consistently excellent, and the beer selection is outstanding. It’s always filled with happy people, which enhances the great atmosphere. Even on their busiest days, the wait is worth it. The poke nachos are one of my favorites.
The server was very nice. The food is either over seasoned, stale or bland. There are so many better food options in the price point. Super loud and a reservation gets you a clear view of the kitchen and all the noise at a 20% premium. Pass on this place!
Boasting in the Greater Sacramento area an Unrivaled selection of beers on tap and in the bottle.... Did not expect this when I walked in.
