Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar

It was a very busy and noisy Saturday afternoon for the Inn. The service staff was a bit overwhelmed and forgetful. We needed to ask twice for the little bowl of hard stale muffins then had one tossed on our table with no butter. The server brought soup with no spoons then disappeared. Every course from the very creative menu was delicious and saved the day! We will try again on a slower evening.

Ordered pasta that was stuck together in clumps. We had three servings and all of us complained about the clumps. Not very appetizing. Drinks/wine ok. Salad, soup, and salmon (skimpy on salmon) appetizer good. Dessert was very dry. A St. Patrick’s Day cake leftover.

The food was disappointing and the $19 drinks were overpriced. They did comp one of our meals, but overall none of them were good. Stick to the burgers and beers. This visit was a letdown compared to my experience here about a year ago, which was great.
