we decided to share some pages: tempoura garnel, sweet rolls and Satay chicken. the king prawns were slender and slightly coated in the tempura lightbatter. a soy-and-wasabi-dipping sauce was the perfect companion to the four garnels. the mini spring rolls came in a part of six. They were deep fried, but not fat. simply beautiful and crispy with a delicious carrot and cauliflower. they were served with sweet chilli dip. the satay huh, marinated and on spits, came with a spicy erdnuss sauce that was absolutely delicious.
Very good meal. Portion sizes were large and service was quick. I got zha jiang noodles which they were able to substitute vegetarian ingredients in place of the meat, and I was pleasantly surprised it was a minced mushroom aubergine substitute mix rather than just...vegetables on the side. My boyfriend got duck noodles which were very nice as well. He also really enjoyed the fresh fruit juices.
Was really looking forward to this and had heard lots of positive things. It’s like Wagas but less polished and more authentic. The service was friendly and efficient, with all the food arriving around the same time. But the noodles were disappointing. The wan tan...soup was bland, the black bean beef hor fun was lacking wok hei and the tempura prawns were flavourless. A bit disappointing tbh
Usually, this place is great. Well-cooked, Singaporean style food, freshly cooked and served quickly. However, on this our most recent visit, the food was very bland and under seasoned, not that well cooked either. I hope it was just an inexperienced chef and that it...was a one off. But it was a disappointing experience and goes to show that even good places can get it wrong all too easily.

My grandkids fancied a special different eating experience at half term. We took them to Yippee. We used to go weekly when it first opened but had not been for years. They still did our favourite starters and crispy noodles We were not disappointed....Good portions and made fresh. My grandkids had half portions and loved it. It can get busy at lunchtimes but well worth the wait!
Serves very tasty food at a decent price. No frills, good service. Regularly get takeaway. One downside is that it can get quite noisy during dinner service, sometimes making it hard to hear what the person sitting opposite you is saying. Also they don't give...you a discount if you order a main course without the rice (unlike some other Chinese restaurants).
Terrible Greasy Food. Tasted like it had been warmed up on to low heat. Small portions too. When you enter you see six cooks. You think it will be good because the price is almost twice anywhere else. The staff are warm when you enter...but when you order they are cold as ice. There are much better places in Cambridge than this rip off joint ...
Absolutely disgraceful takeaway. Firstly we found a thick black hair in our duck and then another hair in our noodles! We have had yippee noodles a lot in the past and normally it’s great! Will never return after this! Gross.

Dropped in for a quick lunch food which was made quickly, perfect for a fast lunch. Recommend the roast duck!
