Yocco's The Hot Dog King

This place oozes with local charm that even has a huge sign tell you what a Yacco Dog is (basically, a Coney Island Hot Dog with a secret recipe chili sauce). The fries were great, the atmosphere takes you back to a different time period, the hot dogs are skinny, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a slightly bacon-y flavor. Staff was friendly, even though it was obvious we were out-of-towners. So glad we finally had a chance to stop at one after seeing all the billboard advertisements. Well worth the detour.

A hot dog joint. If you read this, you probably like hot dogs and you? I'm sorry to stop there. It's okay. My husband and my children love it. I think it's rough. But to be fair, I don't love hot dogs. They love the chili customers with everything. You eat about 10 if we pull thru. I'll stay with the pirates. That's better than average. But... and it's pricier when you think hot dogs should be?

The cheeseburger I would have to say was the worst cheeseburger I have ever had. Hot dog was a yellow color (don’t know what type of hot dog they served, maybe normal), cheese dog is one slice of unmelted white American. Pierogies were flavorless. I don’t like crinkle cut French fries but will say the fries were the best thing from this place. Good fries. Service: Dine in

I don't know what I ordered, but it should be a hot dog similar to a Texas hot where you have chili onions and mustard on it, but they are hot dogs like the spread of mustard on the bungalow type deal not a real chili. Had a decent taste, but not what I expected and used,

Great place to stop for lunch. We got the special and added another one for good measure. Friendly staff.
