Cute atmosphere upon walking in. Other than being greeted by door person and walked to table, we waited about 10 min before anyone came by and it was the runner bringing water. In total we waited about 15 min+ and no server ever came by so we vacated the table and went to the dining counter. After that things moved more quickly. Food was flavorful, nice portions. Pancakes were SUPER fluffy and light, really delicious!!!
Great food, great atmosphere yet horrible service. The table is not being attended to, no refills on the coffee unless you go find the server yourself. They forget about parts of our food and disappear, you have to try and chase the server yourself to get your food. While I understand its busy, the lack of service is unacceptable.
Now these ladies and gentlemen are like they do the breakfast. that was the first meal I had in chicago, and it put the bar quite high for all others.
