Apparently they had no cups. I revisited YOLO the following day to reassess my experience, and unfortunately, I observed some questionable food handling practices. I witnessed an employee emptying a bucket from under the frozen yogurt machine, using the same bucket to transfer water from the bathroom to the toilet, and then returning it to the frozen yogurt area to collect more water. This raised concerns about potential cross-contamination and cleanliness, as well as the owner's response to feedback, which led me to deduct a few stars from my initial review. I love supporting small businesses. The owner is a one man show makes the gelato himself, serves it, welcomes the guests everything! On top of that, he's just the nicest person and makes the best gelato. I walked in thinking this was some corporate franchise shop, had specific expectations, but was humbled when I realized the blood and sweat that went to curating the coolest boutique dessert shop in the area. I had an amazing experience at YOLO Yogurt Desserts, a charming little shop in the picturesque historic area of Roslyn, NY. They offer a wide variety of treats including Frozen Yogurt, Crepes, Gelato, Acai Bowls, beverages, and more. I ordered a delicious Nutella Crepe with strawberries and enjoyed it with some mineral water. The crepe was fantastic and the service was excellent.

The restaurant has a lovely charm, but I didn't feel particularly welcomed. The gelato I sampled was just average, and the yogurt didn't stand out—I could have easily skipped that. However, the toppings station was a nice feature. Overall, it's a great place to visit, especially on a warm day. It might be a bit pricey, but given the location, I doubt anyone will mind.
We've only been in town for two days, and we've already visited this place twice! The yogurt is incredible, and they offer more than 76 toppings. Marole, the staff member, was exceptionally warm and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
The Stacciata and the Snickers flavors were delicious. Great service as well. I went two days in a row because it was so delicious. The little cone they give you is so cute!
This restaurant is quick and efficient. They reliably accommodate custom requests. The yogurt is outstanding, and they provide a range of lower-calorie options.
