The experience was so disappointing that the lack of a warm welcome and the rude service overshadowed everything else. The food itself was very impressive, but waiting an hour for it to be served made it not worth it. We were also told that we had to leave our table in 15 minutes, even though we were already an hour late getting our meal. It was unclear why we needed to rush when the delay was their mistake in the first place. The staff had little knowledge about the tea offerings or the high tea selections, and their lack of engagement only added to our frustration. I am truly disappointed, Yugen! I can’t believe this place is still open given how poorly they are managing the basics.

After we looked at photos and information about insta, we expected a refined Japanese culinary experience, but the atmosphere was more of a busy clubby place along with a dj with Asian fusion heavier style eating! rather expensive for a less refined culinary experience with very average service. not everything we expected. we had fun!

The decor is stunning, the tea is lovely, and the sweets are delicious. I highly recommend it to friends and will definitely visit again! It was an all-around spectacular experience. The waitress was incredibly patient and helpful with the menu too.

Beautiful ambiance, incredible interior architecture and design. In love with the entirety of Yugen, already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended
