"The pork and chive dumplings were perfect. Will definitely be going back for more. I would recommend not getting the Groupon for this place. The dumplings are a must-try and they are quite inexpensive anyway."

I am a longtime fan of dumplings, especially Mother's Dumplings on Spadina, so when I heard that this hidden gem was as good, if not better, it required a visit.<br/ <br/ The verdict? Well, the dumplings are pretty amazing, perhaps even slightly better than Mother's Dumplings. This was certainly the case for the Mutton and carrot steamed dumplings, which were easily the best dumpling I've had either here or in China.<br/ This is also likely do the the fact that the owners never make a dumpling before it's ordered, so even the dumpling pastry is extremely fresh. <br/ <br/ This freshness, however, can be a bit of a drawback as it means that dumplings ordered come out one order at a time and of...

Visiting my son and his Chinese Partner in Toronto we went to this tiny out-of-the-way spot for lunch. "How on earth did you find this spot?" I asked. He decided to try some of the side street little restaurants instead of the many on the main streets and this spot id excellent. I watched them hand making the dumplings in the little kitchen area behind the eating area. our server was so friendly and cheerful, and in true Chinese tradition favored me as the "Oldest" wisest member of our party. We had pancakes and three variety of dumplings. The boiled pork were delicious, but then the fried beef blew them away, and then the shrimp were equally delicious. This is a tiny little spot down a side...

Came to Yummy Yummy for lunch with a friend. When we arrived we were the only customers in the store, which I didn't mind as service was quick and the food arrived promptly. The decor of the place is simple, with some small tables in the middle and booths around the perimeter of the small space. We shared a green onion pancake, and I had the pan-fried pork and chive dumplings. The dumplings were great, although I wasn't a fan of the open ends as it made them a bit difficult to eat. The pancake was good as well. A great alternative to my usual dumpling place!

Dumplings are pretty tasty and reasonably priced. However their other dishes are fairly medicore -- hot and sour soup was sub-par, zha jian mian was so-so (sauce was actually room temp, is this traditional? I've always had it with the sauce heated up). Smashed cucumbers were very refreshing. Service was super slow, don't think they anticipated such a big group. On the plus side, the dumplings were freshly made to our order as we could see them being prepared. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a small restaurant located on a side road in Chinatown in the basement of a building. After living in NYC for over a decade I have had the privilege of experiencing a major city's Chinatown. Yummy Yummy Dumplings was delicious. Highly recommend the pork and chive buns as well as the shrimp and pork steamed dumplings. Beers were on the warmer side but still hit the spot.NOTE: BRING CASH OR A DEBIT CARD

A little hard to spot but follow the sign and you will eventually find the restaurant. I went there  after lunch hours and ordered a vegetarian dumplings and onion pancakes. The dumplings were very satisfactory but not so much the pancakes. The service was fast and friendly.

Saw this restaurant and with the name though - 'why not?!'. To begin, it was fine. Ordered pancakes and dumplings, both steamed and pan fried. The pancakes came 1st and were good. Then just before the dumplings came, the owner asked if we could move...More

On our first evening in Toronto, we found this gem. It's a family run restaurant with warm, attentive service. We ordered dumplings, and then we watched the staff busily making them. The were so good that we ordered a few more orders to take home. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Loved the pork buns and the great selection of dumplings that they have. The staff was also very nice to our 6-year-old who spoke Mandarin to them and therefore became the centre of their attention.
