During our road trip through the Gaspésie region, we stopped for lunch in Rivière-du-Loup and discovered this charming restaurant. It had a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The sushi was good, with some creative options like the salsa roll that had a Mexican twist, and the crunchy roll was served with puffed cereal, giving it an extra crunch! Overall, we had a pleasant experience with fresh rolls and bright, cheerful decor.
I can only give this place 1 star because after ordering vegetarian sushi, all three of us ended up getting sick. I've never had a problem with veggie sushi before, so it’s clear that something must have been moldy or contaminated. While the sushi tasted decent, I was disappointed to find that my platter included a Radish Roll, which is of lesser quality compared to options like an Avocado, Sweet Potato, or Inari Roll.
