We headed to the Burleigh restaurant strip in search of a nice spot to take our interstate visitors for dinner. Zabisan Thai Restaurant caught our eye, and we were delighted to be greeted and seated right away after a quick check on whether we preferred to sit indoors or outdoors. The meal we had was absolutely fantastic, and the customer service was exceptional. We will definitely be back, as it has become one of our go-to dining options. The entire evening was a lovely experience on a cool yet enchanting night. I had an excellent meal, probably the best Thai food I've had in years. It was very authentic. The staff were delightful, and the portions were generous. We ordered a mixed platter of appetizers, special beef beach curry, cashew nut stir-fry with tofu, and a green papaya and BBQ prawn salad. I would definitely go back!
Good service and great that it was byo. Food was very average cashew chicken was like a sweet and sour Chinese dish. Rice cost was bit of a trick... my fault wasn't listening when they said is that for two so paid double when hardly eat rice. Been to Thailand many times this is a very western version.

This has been our favorite Thai restaurant in Burleigh for the past 10 years! However, Tony has just sold the restaurant, and our experience during our visit tonight was nothing like what we had enjoyed in the past. To the new owners: you need to make improvements—quickly!
This is a fantastic restaurant! I would give it a 5/5! The flavors are incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes are just right. I particularly enjoyed the Thai basil chili and green curry with fried rice. Everything was delicious and made with great freshness!
The service was excellent, and the sticky rice with mango was delightful. However, the larb huhn lacked a balanced flavor. It should be bursting with taste, especially considering the restaurant's name, 'Zab,' which means very flavorful.
Got in late near end of service nevertheless friendly staff. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. We have 3 kids all loved their meals

Don't understand why stir fried beef with basil and chill , this restaurant uses beef mince. No other Thai restaurants do it
