This place makes Chicago style deep dish pizza pie. Having never gone to Chicago to have authentic Chicago style pizza, I probably don’t know what I’m talking about but the fact is that the pizza here is delicious. The service is great with the server bringing the pizza table side and cutting the first slice for you. I’ve heard from a few employees there that the benefits are generous. Aside from the long wait because the food needs about 25 minutes to cook, there very little to not like Zachary’s.
Very good pizza, much better than the big chains. They have a nice thick crust, even on their thin pizzas. It is probably about twice as thick as a typical pizza and very filling. Their thick pizza has almost an inch of tomato base, using a fork and knife is recommended. On the lighter side the spring and arugula salads are also delicious. The one down side is it takes around half an hour for the thin pizzas and 40 minutes for the thick ones.
!! Favorite pizza spot in the Bay Area !! Will always be a Zachary’s fan because of the delicious pizza they produce. The restaurant is quirky with cool art and the staff is always great when we’ve dined in. I recommend looking at the specials if you’re ordering for one. This pizza always hits the spot and is super filling, highly recommend.
This is a Bay Area special spot..and something you miss when you don’t live close. We like the spinach mushroom and tomatoes deep Dish. 1 piece is a coma.. just saucy and good. A large last is all week..so it’s not something we do often, but this month…oops .. delish! We love Zachary’s

Best pizza I've ever had. It's a real shame that the kitchen consistently gets orders wrong despite double and triple checking. Sometimes I have had to argue with the manager about getting a refund for a pizza I can't eat (allergies) or that is simply not correct to my order.
Awesome customer service!!! My pickup order was misplaced and the manager treated me very well to make up for the additional waiting time. It's impossible to be upset after such a good way to treat customers. Pizza was as good as always!
Great spot in town for a deep dish pizza. I always order to-go. The crust is unique, sort of like a pastry style dough. Every time the pizza is consistently good. I would recommend getting two mediums vs. one large.
Come for the best pizza in the bay area, stay for a pleasant atmosphere.
