Man, maybe it's better if you eat there??? I picked up the Sampler and the Kefta Pita tonight which was $24 before tip. The sampler portion was quite disappointing. It had about 2oz each of the 3 different spreads (think the size of a ramekin you'd get if you order salad dressing on the side or a side of wing sauce at other places) and falafels. The falafels were decent size. They didn't have much flavor but you could overly taste the fried-ness aspect so we didn't care for those. The baba ghanoush was good but the foule and hummus were bland. At least you could fill up on the pita they give you!The Kefta Pita had tasty meat but not much of it. If I could leave a negative star I would.Walk in to get carry out and my order had been given to someone else. They began speaking to one another as if I’m not there about the mistake. But never addressed it with me directly. I’m assuming it was the owner who rudely snapped at me asking “ WHATS YOUR ORDER” and I understand being frustrated because a customers food had been handed out to someone else. But that is not my problem, so keep your attitude in check while speaking to PAYING customers. Finally they had me sit and wait for it to be remade. Which is really not a huge deal.But when it is finally remade there are portions of the food missing. Which again really isn’t a huge deal.But this...

I was only in St. Pete for a short time, but I made sure to eat at Zaytoon twice because it is that amazing. Having lived in Bethlehem, I always look for Palestinian cuisine wherever I travel, and this family-owned restaurant was truly special. The owners and staff were wonderful. We tried the crispy and perfectly seasoned fries, babaghanoush, falafel, kibbe, the chicken shawarma bowl, and hummus (I really enjoyed being able to customize it with different toppings—adding beef and almonds was a great idea). Everything was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it!

I went to this restaurant for dinner. The food was not hot, not even warm. The tabbouleh was mostly parsley, with hardly anything else in it. When I asked for a bowl with half of one type of meat and half of another, I was charged extra. I was also told that they do not do half and half, which would have been helpful to know when I placed my order. I was disappointed to have chosen this restaurant after seeing it had a 4.5 rating. The restaurant is small but charming. This was our first visit and we decided to go because we are fans of Mediterranean cuisine. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very authentic. While flavorful, it wasn't the greatest quality. I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, but it arrived as a plate of rice and shawarma with a small amount of salad on the side, not in a bowl as expected. I would give the flavors a 7 out of 10. Overall, I would rate the food as 3 out of 5.

We got the Mixed Grill platter that had beef, chicken and kefta kabobs with some grilled veggies. We also got the Zaytoon sampler so we could try their hummus and babaganoush. The hummus was outrageously good, very light and clearly freshly made. All the food was delicious; because of the platters we were able to try out so many parts of their menu and we loved all of it.

Nice restaurant good food and great service. I didn’t give five stars because I orderedthe Lamb Kabob Platter and the lamb was very dry. This is a small restaurant so it’s a little tight inside, but we did eat our meal there and for the most part we did enjoy it.Food: 4/5

The falafel was flavorful as well as the tahini dressing and the Hummus. The man at the desk was nice also. Honestly my only complaint was the amount of spine of the romaine lettuce. I added a picture of the salad before and after.Food: 4/5 Reserva una mesa ahora

The team here was super friendly. Hummus can be plain or yummy and there's was definitely yummy! They let us try a house hot sauce and that was fantastic.Food: 5/5

This places serves you samples of dishes, very very small amounts at double the price....that's not Lebanese
