Zehrs St Clair Beach

I used to like shopping here, they had lots of cashier's on the weekends, they packed bags along side you and while the prices have always been just a bit higher, the overall vibe made it worth it to shop here. I haven't been now in quite awhile and will likely never be back because time and time again I was picking up products that were close to expiration. Who has time for that if paying a more premium price to shop there? Not me. I haven't ever run into that at sobeys or even food basics. Someone needs a better food rotation and management system. Oh and..... Pay your damn staff better, they look miserable to be there.

Ordered from Meals to Go via Door Dash. Was supposed to get a roasted chicken with onion rings and potatoes. They only sent the chicken no sides. Terrible attention to details. Door Dash refused to offer a refund only a measly $3.00 credit on their site. Tried to contact Zehrs directly, and they were already closed. Zehrs should be ashamed of themselves for such terrible service.

I am glad I stopped there to pick up a few things I needed. Great store, lots of choices. Clean tidy. The cashier was very helpful and polite too.

Prices drive me nuts! Last week cereal was $4.99, this week $7.49 for same cereal. Same with orange juice. Gotta be a smart shopper
