Amazing experience with the food, please call before showing up. The wait time is ridiculous and it’s an upwards to two hour Wait for a small table. I would say come with friends and family before 6 PM for a good spot inside the restaurant anything after 630 is most likely an hour long wait. The drinks are fantastic. Here we purchased two drinks one with gin and the other one was a Mocktail. This place is more of a tapas so if you’re coming with a large party, you’re definitely most likely ordering two plates per person. We ordered around 7-8 dishes for three people, but it’s because we’re out of town and we wanted to try what Zhug had to offer. The zucchini salad, and the shrimp option are de...

Probably in my top ten meals. I'm mostly upset that I don't live in Cleveland to come back here often. Love the atmosphere, very bright and cozy. We sat at the bar, bartender was very knowledgeable and made lots of suggestions. Cocktails, 19 and 20, we delicious. This is a small plate restaurant and they recommend 2-3 plates per person. We ordered 5 for the two of us and 4 would have been plenty. Winners were the harissa hummus, kofte, mejadra rice, and fried chicken. Although good, we could have done without brussel sprouts. The zhug (like a spicy mediterranean pesto was amazing). This place was so good I'm tempted to figure out a need to come back to Cleveland.Vegetarian options: Lots of v...

Some of the food was stellar and some was more average. LOVED the hummus nigella, falafel and brussel sprouts. Make sure you get these and you won’t be disappointed! Hummus competes with some of the best we ever had.Everyone says to get the cauliflower, we thought that was just ok. The server recommended the fried curry chicken it was the most expensive thing we ordered and least favorite. Octopus was also just ok.The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Fun ambience for drinks and some appetizers.

Zhug isn’t just dinner it’s an event! Went again last weekend with my friend and we spent a while here indulging in a drink and several small plates. Zhug does a great job pacing. We ordered all our food at once, but they brought it out as each was ready, giving us time to enjoy each one a bit before the next arrived. Zhug has plenty of vegetarian options and some vegan ones a lot of their vegetarian options can be made vegan though. Very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

Zhug offers the ultimate Middle Eastern dining experience in Cleveland. Their small plate, tapas-style sharing concept allows you to taste all of the amazing flavors they have to offer. The menu is diverse and caters to all dietary needs, with an extensive cocktail and drink selection. The modern atmosphere features candlelit tables, music playing overhead, and minimalist decor. Most items are gluten-free, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions.

The staff was extremely friendly at this restaurant and the food was both healthy and not overly salty. The waitress even let us try different spices with the hummus. The Zhung Sangria was delicious and the tahini ice cream was incredibly creamy. The cod cake was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I was so absorbed in the amazing food and atmosphere that I forgot to take pictures of all the dishes, but I highly recommend this place!

This was my third visit to the restaurant and I do not plan on returning anytime soon. The service was slow, we missed out on one course, and the bill seemed incorrect, so I will be disputing it with my credit card company. However, I appreciate that the management at Zhug reached out to address my concerns and are making an effort to improve in the future.

Zhug is one of our favorite places in the area to visit, just because they’ve got the coolest selection of dishes for sharing. The food could have been seasoned a little more and the brussel sprouts just a little more crispy. But we’ll for sure be back, and I imagine we can go a handful more times and not repeat a single dish that we love! Amazing food and service. We even had the owner come to our table and explain which foods to get and he was spot on. Definitely get the hummus ??
