I was recommended to go to Zigfrid's by another Geelong restaurant who were booked out. I went on my own as I was in Geelong on business. The wait staff were warm and welcoming and explained the menu to me. I decided to order entree, main and dessert without understanding the size of the main and that it would normally be treated as a shared dish. I had the haloumi to begin with which was beautiful. Three of us ate at this interesting very busy restaurant last night and loved it. It is a large renovated "industrial" type building. Casual atmosphere so good for families and groups. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was different and very interesting with perhaps a middle eastern approach. We loved the shared plates which gave us the opportunity to sample more of the interesting and delicious flavours and dishes. The slow cooked lamb was a must try and we ordered a refreshing coleslaw with it which was a good foil to the lamb. Trendy place frequented mainly by young people but not only. Housed in an old warehouse, it has very tasteful industrial-style minimalist furnishings except for a hideous collection of antler boxes and a stuffed goat's head that I don't understand why they were posted and what they can get into. Easy parking, fast service. The menu consists of about ten choices that serve as a very light appetizer or dinner and 4/5 dishes more consistent in dose and price. Travelled to Geelong to meet family members for lunch. They recommended Zigfrids and we weren't disappointed. It was a great experience, loved the decor, the staff were attentive and the food was amazing. We chose to share several tapas dishes. Ad a vegetarian I was thrilled by the variety of dishes. I couldn't decide what was my favourite dish as they were all delicious.My husband loved the beer and the coffee was great. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Ideal para una cena de domingo de Pascua no tradicional. La comida tenía todos los sabores grandes con un buen nivel de la espística. Gran textura en la croqueta y los sueños de Haloumi. El Medio Oriente de Costlaw tenía un buen giro y se fue muy bien con el hombro del cordero, que era agradable y tierno. El parfait de mantequilla de maní con ganache de chocolate fue un acabado decadente en una comida maravillosa. El personal era amable y atento. Muy recomendable.

Really good selection of foods for all tastes. My personal fave is the fried whole prawns, lightly spiced. The lamb and beef cheek (both slow cooked) are brilliant, the wine list is good, and the middle eastern style of food is really tasty. Went twice in one week with different friends, and can't wait to go back again! Nice atmosphere, set in an old warehouse with some funky touches in the decor.

The place is an old shed refurbished into a restaurant, perhaps some of the "horns" hanging on the wall and a goat face, otherwise very fashionable! sword with aubergines, both delicious !!), two glasses of wine, a bottle of sparkling water (the natural one from the tap they give free in all the places) total 86 dollars, well spent

Visiting friends in Geelong we went to Zigfrids and were impressed by the food and standard of service. If you are visiting Geelong well worth trying this one, but expect tapas style dining. Extensive well chosen wine list. Interesting decor. Reserva una mesa ahora

Interesting setting on Pakington St, in an old 2 story brick building. Nice atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Good wine list featuring locals. Food was the star. Lots of tasty small dishes to share. Recommended.

As a hospitality industry person (chef) my advice - go there now. Flavour, beers, cheese and amazing FOH staff and BOH staff. Perfection.
