The first good thing about this restaurant is the fact that it serves food non stop up till 11pm! Many restaurants in Kitzbuhel and other parts of Austria just close at 2pm.The atmosphere is of a traditional Tyrollean restaurant but it lacks any excitement or authenticity. Like plenty of these restaurants in the Austrian mountains they no are no longer run by local families but by immigrants for the eastern Europe.The menu is a big affair with plenty of choices of traditional Austrian and Tyrollean favourites, plus a lot of Italian Pizzas and pastas. It's strange but it seems they run an Italian restaurant in town. Whatever.We tried the Goulash with the Spätzle and it was good. The Deer stew was also tasty. The Cordon Bleu looked the part and was quickly dealt with.The service is professional but totally impersonal so don´t expect too much on the human part. 5 people with 2 beers gets you a 78€ bill. Not cheap but this is a rich town.
We were actually looking for a different place for dinner, but when we stumbled upon this restaurant, it looked very promising, so we took a closer look. The menu had a good variety of things, and the vegetarian in our group found several options she could be happy with. We sat down at an outside table (nice!) and continued looking over the many menu options of traditional Austrian food, as well as pasta and pizza. The waiter provided attentive service, and our meals arrived quickly. All of our meals were very good. The prices were very good, especially given the quality of the food. Recommended!
We liked this restaurant. Good choice on the Menu. Pleasant and helpful staff. English menu . I specifically loved the Deer stew which was very tasty we ate here three times so far in our 10 days in Kitzbuhel. I thought it was good value relatively speaking. We have food and drink to be expensive in the area.
