Really great local Greek restaurant that is a favorite in the DuPont Circle neighborhood. When you want a reasonably priced, authentic Greek meal, this is the place for you!The customers are required to go to the service counter on the lower level to order (beer and wine available! . Zorba's then gives you a table placard with your order number, you select your own table, and a server brings your food and drink order to you by locating your table number. Quick and easy.Zorba's has seating for dining on 3 levels (inside and outside on the street level; another indoor area a few steps below the street level (but above the kitchen and service counter ; and yet another seating area upstairs.
The best baklava I've ever had by a mile. It is so good it may just be one of the best deserts I've ever had. Oh yeah, they serve other food as well. I haven't had a single dish I didn't like. Anything lamb is great. Greek pizzas are solid. Dips are great. The serving to price ratio puts Zorba's into expensive territory, but it would be a stretch to say it's not worth it. Ample outdoor and indoor seating. Inside has lots of pictures of Greece and an overall cool vibe. You have to order in the back, at the kitchen, but you get your food quickly. There is a reason this is a popular local spot.
I went to DC with a friend. We had met 9 weeks earlier as we spent the summer working at a summer camp. This was the first meal we had together outwith camp and it was amazing- So good we went 3 nights in a row.The staff were also so helpful and the food was some of the best Greek we've had. The hummus and pita is a must!!! This place now means alot to us both and I know we'll always remember the meals we had here.

I do understand why this place has 4 stars. The food was tasteless, burnt, and not authentic Greek to be quite honest. Everything else was average at its absolute best. There are better Greek restaurants in town, although as a native NYer, I can safely say DC does not seem to be a bastion of Mediterranean cuisine to begin with.
I have mixed feelings on this one, partly because I’m Greek. I loved the atmosphere when I walked inside. It’s beautifully decorated with lots of pictures on the walls and authentic Greek music. However I was disappointed with the food. The “keftedes” dish was not great, the spanakopita and tiropita were just ok.
Went there with a very large group. Was greeted pleasantly, order was taken easily, made quickly and exact. Great prices. Entire top floor was ours without needing arrangements. Had an amazing lunch with some amazing friends all coming together for the 1st time after 2+ years of zoom friendships
Absolutely one of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. Fresh and full of flavorLoved it ! Felt like a stuffed turkey after this place lol ?

Moussaka is very good also kalamakia, the mixed aperitif in nice, very healthy, nice staff, affordable price. Very recommended
