I had heard of schneeballs while researching Rothenberg but did not think much of it. As soon as we passed by the bakery and saw the display, I had to have one.The staff at the time was amazing and sweet and recommended some of her favorite schneeballs. I don't know what I was necessarily expecting out of them, but they were a bit like cereal and frosting rolled into a ball. It was not bad but I felt as if I needed some milk to eat them.We got 2 large ones and 2 bags with 4 little ones inside to go as souvenirs for family back home. They also though they were very pretty and not bad. We have never tried schneeballs before so I can't compare to others but I would recommend stopping by this pl...

These things are amazing, a twisted ball of pastry covered in anything from powdered sugar to hazelnut frosting. Friendly staff and absolutely yummy.
