One of the oldest buildings in a town endowed with old buildings. The timbers are hand-hewn and joined without metal pins. The restaurant is German traditional with charming and attentive service. The beer on tap is excellent and served with an admirably perfect "Blume" (head). We had the consummee (home made), chef's salad (with endives), kebabs and a Strammer Max (cold cuts on bread with egg). It was excellent all around and its obvious the place is a favourite among locals

This restaurant was great! The waitress spoke very good English and had a charming personality and great sense of humor. There were four people in our group and everyone really enjoyed the food which was typical German style. The local beer was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I will visit this restaurant every time I travel to Arolsen!

I took this restaurant from Tripadvisor as I had little time to search for a restaurant.Thanks to all contributers, as this was close to the castle of Bad Arolsen (3 minute walk).I ordered some real German food which was very tastey and well priced.You like German food, like I do?Go here, small menu, with German food.

Stumbled in here whilst in Bad Arolsen for business. Fantastic food. Real authentic German cuisine. Very large servings and very good prices. Tried a few in this area (see my other reviews) but this restaurant by far the best. If your in the area, try it out.

Oké place for a drink not romantik lokal people eat. It should BE great when There was musik on the back ground
