Good German citizen restaurant with small mistakes. Anyone who expects a 5-star restaurant is completely out of the house. But those who want good civic food in the early 80s with a touch of the 70s are here. It can be missing from my point of view, a bit of salt and pepper, but this is a matter of taste!
We are at times in the old door to Witten to enjoy grounded cuisine in rustic ambience. Schnitzel and Steaks are excellent. There is a classic, strong chicken soup, ham plate, hare bump and other tasty tempers, all at a very fair price/performance ratio.

Good. Ambience as many wrote here old and 70/80er style. But clean. There are hygiene rules. Food was solid (Snacks: camembert and Toast Hawaii). Capucchino was really delicious. Service was friendly.
We waited about 2 hours for the food, because before us the bowling alley guests and larger tables with several guests were there. We were cold. You don't need it on Saturday night.
After two visits, we can only confirm that not only the pepper steak but also the other dishes had a qualitatively high bourgeois level - what one rarely gets today.
Very nice place with very nice hosts. The food tastes very delicious. Unfortunately long waiting times had to wait for food for over an hour.
