I went with my couple to have lunch to the restaurant. As it was sunny we decided to stay in the terrace. Once our meals were delivered and after eating a little bit I realize that my dish needed more salt. I asked for it to a waiter and there was a completely acceptable misunderstanding between "Saltz" and "zahlen". Once this was solve I kept waiting for the salt. I saw how my dish was getting colder and colder and after few minutes I decided to go inside and ask for it again. At that point it was clear I was getting disappointed . We gave this resto a try even though my colleague had a bad experience here earlier this year (waited over 90 minutes for his meal). We ordered the venison filet special, after confirming with the waitress that there were still 2 orders available (7:30 pm on a Sunday...). Mine arrived within 20 minutes but the waitress stated that they ran out of the pumpkin side and would my colleague be ok with an alternate (he was ). I started to eat very slowly at his insistence, but after 20 minutes I finished what was a very nice meal and my colleague's was nowhere in sight. This was our second visit to this restaurant at the historic town square in Deggendorf. In summer there is a large terrace at the town square and on a Saturday the farmer's market was just opposite complete with a cultural performance. Service is polite, fast and professional. We had the Duett of Donauwaller & Salmon and the Gnocchi with Mushrooms and parmesan. The portions were generous and the food was very tasty. Highly recommended restaurant in Deggendorf for all occasions.

Although new by name and location, this restaurant has a long teadition in town, under a different name, across from where they are situated now. I come to this town for business for 20 years now. The food and service never disappointed me. They serve typical bavarian stuff, but also food that is fit for a wider taste palet. Good quality, good service, very good value for money. After a stroll in early evening Deggendorf center found the cozy restaurant. Nice smiley welcome ensured I dropped in the right place. Was given immediately a table, and the service was very courteous, fast. Menu choice reflects the nice Bavarian Cuisine, accompanied by regional and...Austrian wines. Generous portions, very tasty meal, accompanied by a nice Gruener Veltliner wine. The bill won't disappoint you, a nice place to stop by anytime soon.

I had Italian gnocci with special mushrooms. Very good and the Bavarian beer was perfect, too. You can have a traditionell Bavarian meal and international (vegitarian as well). If the weather is fine sit outside. The manual is not big but the meals looks fresh...and the taste for me was fine. Service was very friendly.

This restaurant is One of the best places in Deggendorf located in the City center. I highly recommend trying the local, Bavarian food. I had the day's speciality which was veal tongue in creamy sauce with rice pilaf and balsamic carrots. Delicious. You should also...try the local Kloster beer.

We usual go here for Lunch when where in Deggendorf. The Service is amazing, the food is very delicious. They always have some special daily menu. This time I had a fish dish with a local fish and Salmon and a side of risotto. It was sooo delicious. I love coming back there. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wanted some good traditional Bavarian food after a day cycling the Danube with my son's, and wasn't disappointed. Great menu choices and friendly staff.

Nice, friendly atmosphare, very good looking place. Nice service. Really good, delicious Bavarian food. Good beer.
