When we arrived on Friday evening, we expected a full house. There was one person at the bar and two or three other tables with diners. There was no hostess, no bartender, and no wait staff visible. We could hear laughing and conversation in the hallway behind the bar. We waited almost 10 minutes before we even saw an employee. Another group of about 8 came in and sat at the bar. When the bartender came out she apologized to them and took their orders... didnt even acknowledge us standing at the front desk. Another 2 or 3 minutes went by and a waitress (being shadowed by a trainee) came out to check on the tables. After the rounds she made eye contact with us but did not check on us and head...
I am really disappointed with the service of this place. I came down with my friends for their birthday. They only had one service person who seem to be overwhelmed because she is trying to attend to several tables at the same time. We also had plans to visit the roof top bar unfortunately we were told the roof top bar was not open because the manager on duty called out. So there will be no one to work in his place when he calls out. So disappointing. I invited a lot of people. My friends were not pleased at all. I am not pleased at all. And I made my frustration known to the manager on duty at the restaurant. Will I refer anyone to this place unfortunately NO!
Our visit to the restaurant was plagued with several issues. The cocktails we wanted were not available, nor was the burger I desired or the salad I chose as an alternative. When we asked the waitress for a recommendation on wine, she brought back a glass but had to go back to find out what wine it was. To top it off, there was a fruit fly in the wine. The food took a while to come out, but when we inquired about it at the front, it suddenly appeared, making us wonder if it had been forgotten.
TL;DR Poor service and worse food. Skip the restaurant, check out the view on the 23rd and I recommend you find somewhere else to spend your evening. We came in with 9 people for dinner and had a pretty bad experience. The dining room was all but empty, the bar had a couple of people and there was a bartender and server for the hand full of customers. We didnt have a reservation but our group was very relaxed and just looking for a meal to celebrate a birthday. Service

Popped in here to visit the rooftop bar for a few drinks and some music with a view. Rooftop was NOT our scene. Came down to the ground floor which was much more our scene. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Loved the bartenders aprons. It was a nice professional touch. If we're back in Houston again we will stop in again.
New “gem” downtown. Excellent set up for a business lunch. Tables are not crowded together and the venue was not loud. Restaurant is bright and the service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Happy to have a new option in the area!
Danielle was an SENSATIONAL SERVER! I didn?t have the best time in Houston?s customer service, however this restaurant gave me some hope to eventually try Houston again. We will definitely be going back to eat there 10/10.
Our waitress forgot the drinks. Didn't apologize for it. Never checked if we were ok or food came out good. Manager checked with us at the end and he brought us our check. Host was great.

Maybe they were under staffed, host never greeted, employees never looked our direction or said anything to us, we were left just standing there. So we left
