We fell by chance. we were waiting for a restaurant a little catching tourists, but the surprise was very good: the iberico pig perfectly cooked and tasteful, the sea wolf with delicious plancha. vegetables. good wines with glass. Nice service. restaurant inside) comfortable: tablecloths and beautiful dishes. price more than wise. small glass offered by the house.
with so many good restaurants that we have visited in this week in old estepona and the high reviews and relatiw higher price, we have expected that this restaurant would have been one of the best of our visit. that wasn't. don't say it was bad, but eating was disappointing, and the service started a bit curt and unwilling, but warmed up like the night went. with all the great possibilities I have provided, I really can't recommend eating here. it was only average.
wonderful meal and great experience. antonio, our waiter, was really great and the paella and solomillo were fabulous.
we had an excellent experience. the host was super friendly – he gave extensive advice about her wee and that was amazing. we had fried oliven (delicious,) gambas al pil-pil and paella. we can recommend this place to anyone who visits estepona. 10 of 10!
had booked and received both confirmation and reminder not to forget my booking, when we got there it was closed.
Restaurant is well situated in the old town but that’s where it ends. Inattentive service and very average food a premium prices. Strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
This is the second time we have had lunch at La Cocina this week both times tapas. It's a great little place slightly off the beaten path but very easy to walk to from Plaza de la Flores. It's very relaxed and in a lovely side street in the shadow of the church. All of the dishes are tasty.
