Blackstrap BBQ Reservar una mesa

Small place, once you walk in the menu is on the wall and you would place your order, pick a seat and they will bring your order. I got the burnt end poutine and wowzerssssss, it was so tasty! The green beans and the baked beans were just as amazing. The place is busy and has a patio outside as well. Thanks for a great experience.

On July 29, we went to the blackstrap bbq in verdun. What a disappointment. our choices, a smoked turkey sandwich with cabbage salad and a brisket dish with poutine. The sandwich was fade. the brisket, the meat was tender but had too much fat. the poutine (to be avoided) seemed to have been made with the remaining ones. The service was correct. The place was not at its best cleanliness. So we won't go back.

On the reccommendation of our rafting guide we tried out the local smoked meat restaurant. We had the pulled pork sandwiches and ribs. They were excellent. Great price and great food. It is self service. Order at the counter and the bring the food right out. They also had a good selection of sauces.

A great restaurant. Excellent smoked brisket. Very juicy, with really tasty fries. I recommended the spicy sauce. The Sunday 5pm dinner time was quiet and we were served immediately.

I haven't been to the blackstrap for a while since I found that portions and quality had declined and prices increased. I decided to go back and hope for an improvement in the situation. Far from it! A brisket has $17, 3 unfortunate slices, I was ashamed when I saw the quantity! The box was small and it still seemed ridiculous! Half a chicken, I didn't know we could kill chickens so small. Next step of the chicks? For $17... the portion of fries, not huge. The macaronis, it seems to me that there were three pieces before. We had two...Breef, after $40, we were hungry!In addition, we couldn't get served in French! Seriously? Anyway, verdun becoming hipster I understand that it works, but one day they may have enough to get caught for pigeons!

We accidentally fell on this restaurant on the evening of our arrival in Montreal. excellent meats, good atmosphere, generous portions. Correct prices. nice and friendly service.

This place is usually full, difficult to eat in donne ready to do takeout. All sorts of BBQ meat. Portions are big and not cheap but worth it if you have a craving for this sort of thing. Interesting beers on tap. Friendly hipster staff
