Stopped here with the boys after reading that this was a great locals spot for poutine. The hot dogs were really good. The fries were expertly cooked, and the poutine was simple, straightforward and really good. I would stop here again!

Mon amoureux et moi, quand on commande de la «junk food», c'est chez Pierrette Patates. Leurs hamburgers sont succulents (petit bémol : spécifiez «bien cuits à l'intérieur», sinon la viande sera rosée), leurs frites, bien dodues, tendres et un peu sucrées (j'adore); leurs souvlaki pitas, savoureux à souhait. Oui, oui, laissez-vous aller et appelez Pierrette !(Par contre, je n'ai jamais mangé sur place, je ne peux donc pas vous parler des lieux.)

Located on the corner of street, locals go there to get dogs and fries..... excellent. get there, get a fix and get out..or else you'll sell grease forever...

Vous aimez le fast-food.Quoi de mieux qu'un bon hot-dog all-dressed accompagné de bonnes frites maison cuites à point et d'une boisson gazeuse bien fraîche pour se remonter le moral de temps en temps?La nourriture pacifiante par excellence en ce qui me concerne.Une adresse à découvrir à Verdun si ce n'est déjà fait.C'est beau, bon et surtout pas cher.Le service est rapide et le personnel efficace et sympathique.Stationnement facile et gratuit.Commandes à emporter disponibles. Possibilité de manger sur place.

Best hot dogs in town! Friendly staff and good service. Old school type of eatery but I took mine to go. The fries and pouting are also very good.

I recently have gone to Pierrette Patates, after hearing lots of great things about the place. Well the reputation was not wrong, it was great.The food is awesome, the quality is great, the quantity is great, the taste, appearance and temperature are all just perfect. And the price, the price is so low... it's unbelievable... for what you get, you pay very little.. I haven't seen such good prices for good quality in a long while in Montréal. I highly recommend a stop at the restaurant and you will not be disappointed, they offer a lot of Montréal signature dishes with all the quality and not the high price tags found on Ste-Catherine street.Service is friendly and quite quick, I was very impressed.If you have any question, please do not hesitate to ask me... it's one of my favorite spots to go for a good quality inexpensive meal. I highly highly recommend!!!!!
